Félix Lobo es Investigador Honorífico de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Departamento de Economía) y Miembro del Consejo de dirección del Máster en Evaluación Sanitaria y Acceso al Mercado (Fármaco-Economía)

Fue director general de Farmacia y Productos Sanitarios (1982-1988) y presidente de la Agencia Española de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutrición (2005-2008) del Ministerio de Sanidad.

Miembro del Comité de expertos de Política y Gestión del Medicamento de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (1987-2016).

S.M. el Rey le concedió la Gran Cruz de la Orden Civil de Sanidad el 18 de diciembre de 2009.
